CS for inculcating moral values to achieve corruption free society

Jammu,December 4 (Scoop News) – Vichar Kranti Manch International, a Socio spiritual Voluntary Organization today organized National Convention at Gen Zorawar Singh Auditorium Complex, University of Jammu on inculcation of moral and ethical values in society.
Chief Secretary . S. S. Kapur was the chief guest on the occasion. MLA Bishnah . Ashwani Sharma was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary lauded the role of Vichar Kranti Manch International in creating awareness among the people about the need for moral and ethical values for establishing a corruption free society. He particularly appreciated the services of the founder of the Manch Dr. R. R. Khajuria for taking up a noble cause which a pre-requisite at the present juncture when society is ridden with corruption and moral degradation prevailing in all walks of life.
. Ram Rattan Khajuria presented a memorandum to the Chief Secretary. He asked for introducing moral and ethical values as a compulsory subject in all schools, colleges and universities.
Dr. Kulwant Kour presented a concept paper on ways and means for creating congenial atmosphere for establishing corruption free world, justice and peace. Dr. Rajesh Mishra spoke on spirituality, stating that true religion is the only panacea for removing all ills and sins from the world. Sheikh Shakil Ahmed advocate deliberated on the role of law judiciary in curbing corruption and mall practices in politics and administrations. Dr. Usha Tickoo delivered lectures on necessity of introducing moral and ethical values in the society.
Earlier, the Chief Guest was welcomed by the office bearers of the manch with offering of bouquet. . Kapur inaugurated the convention by lighting the lamp. Saraswati Vandana was also performed.
Delegates comprising males and females from sub regions of J&K state as well as outside the state besides some NRI’s and foreigners including office bearers of Chapters of VKMI from HP, Delhi participated in the convention.
On the occasion memontoes along with merit certificates were also distributed by the Chief Guest to several personalities for their acts of honesty ,dedication and social service.
