| Kishtwar: 6 families provided compensation under Road Accident Victim Fund | | | Kishtwar, May 08(Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today disbursed Rs. 5 lakh as compensation under the J&K Road Accident Victim Fund, based on the cases submitted by Assistant Road Transport Officer (ARTO).
An amount of Rs. 1 lakh each was disbursed among the legal heirs of four persons died in road accidents, while Rs 50 thousand each was provided to two grievously injured persons.
This government initiative aims to extend timely financial support to those affected by tragic road accidents and reflects its continued commitment towards assisting bereaved and distressed families.

Doda, May 07(Scoop News)-A free medical camp under the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) was successfully organized at Village Kurmail in Medical Block Assar, the other day.
During the camp, the locals were provided a wide range of healthcare services including general health check-ups, screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), dental check-ups and other essential medical services.
