Nubra, July 04 (Scoop News)-In compliance with the directions of the UT Administration and under the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, Nubra, the Block Development Officer (BDO), Turtuk, conducted a special enforcement drive across the Turtuk market area to ensure the effective implementation of the ban on single-use plastics.
During the drive, inspections were carried out to check the use, sale, storage and distribution of banned single-use plastic items. Fine was imposed on violators found using or selling prohibited plastic products, in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The highly trained sniffer dogs are capable of detecting the presence of narcotic substances concealed in vehicles, luggage and with individuals.
