| DC Kargil Reviews Annual Action Plan of Viksit Bharat GRAM-G Programme | | |
Kargil, March 16 (Scoop News)- Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Rakesh Kumar today chaired a review meeting regarding the Annual Action Plan under the Viksit Bharat Gram G (VB GRAM-G) programme at the Conference Hall, Baroo.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Development, Executive Engineer PWD, Executive Engineer PHE, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Kargil, a representative from the CMO Kargil office, besides Block Development Officers (BDOs) of various blocks.
During the meeting, the BDOs shared the abstract of the Annual Plan under VB GRAM G convergence for the financial year 2026–27.

Kargil, March 16 (Scoop News)- The Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, today flagged off 270 quintals of organic fertilizer in the first phase to Chanigund and Karkitchu villages. The distribution of organic fertilizer is being carried out under the initiative “Cultivating Prosperity” for the upcoming crop season 2026–27. The distribution drive has been organized by the Department of Cooperatives, Kargil, UT Ladakh, at Kurbathang, Kargil.

Drass, March 14 (Scoop News)-Abdul Wahid, Councillor Bhimbet Constituency Drass, LAHDC Kargil expressed profound gratitude to Shri Eknath Shinde, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra on behalf of the people of Drass Sub-Division for the generous donation of a CT Scan Machine to the Sub-District Hospital Drass Kargil.
The commitment was originally made by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, during his visit to Drass Sub-Division last year on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas 2025. As such, the Councillor diligently followed up on the matter since then to ensure its successful procurement.
