Srinagar/Jammu, October 06 (Scoop News) – J&K Governor, N. N. Vohra, Chief Minister,Omar Abdulla, Speaker, DY.CM, Ministers, PDP Chairman & President condoles demise of Union Minister for Health, Ghulam Nabi Azad Azad’s mother
The Governor, N. N. Vohra, has, in a condolence message, expressed sympathy with Ghulam Nabi Azad, Union Minister for Health, and other members of the bereaved family, over the sad passing away of Azad’s mother.
Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today visited the residence of Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Ghulam Nabi Azad to express his condolence on the demise of the mother of Azad, who passed away here today.
Omar Abdullah remained with the bereaved family expressed his solidarity and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
The Chief Minister along with Speaker and many cabinet Ministers attended the Nimaz-e-Jenaza of the deceased at the Gujjar Nagar graveyard here.
The Speaker, Mohammad Akbar Lone, Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand also visited the residence of the Union Minister here and express their grief and sorrow over the sad demise.
Minister for Agriculture, Gh. Hassan Mir and Minister of State for Tourism, Nasir Aslam Wani has expressed grief and shock over the sad demise of Mother of Union Health Minster and former Chief Minister of J&K, Gh. Nabi Azad.
In their Condolence messages, they expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

Mufti, Mehbooba condole demise of Azad’s mother- Former Chief Minister and patron of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mufti Mohammad Sayed and president of PDP Mehbooba Mufti have condoled the sad demise of s Razia Begum wife of late Khawaja Rehmatullah and mother of Ghulam Nabi Azad, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare.
In a statement issued here today, PDP leaders expressed their grief over the sad and untimely demise Razia Begum and conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Ghulam Nabi Azad and other members of the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul in the heaven.
Mufti Mohammad Sayeed along with general secretary of the party Thakur Balbir Singh also attended funeral of Razia Begum at Jammu.
Congress Seva Dal holds various Condolence Meetings across the State-
Jammu and Kashmir Congress Seva Dal has condoled the demise of Smt. Razia Begum wife of Late Khawaja Rehmatullah and mother of Ghulam Nabi Azad, Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare.
To condole the sudden death of the mother of Union Health Minister, a condolence meeting of Seva Dal was held here in Jammu under the chairmanship of its president Balvinder Singh Sambyal.
During the meeting, the participants expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sudden and untimely demise of Razia Begum.
The Seva Dal workers conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Ghulam Nabi Azad and other members of the bereaved family. They prayed for peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Later, all the present members observed two minutes silence and prayed almighty for the peace to the departed soul.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Anwar Chowdhary Phaa, Sardar Harinder Singh, S.S.Jamwal, Anil Sharma, J.K.Koul, Rajnish Sharma, Rajesh Sadhotra, Krishan Lal, Lavnish Gupta, Bal Krishan, Nisha Abrol, Rajni Sharma, Kamlesh Basi, Kamla Devi, Gourav Gupta, Arti Abrol, Dr. Naseem Choudhary, Youdhvir Singh, Sanjeshwar Singh and others.
In Jammu, Kashmir Valley and Ladakh various condolence meetings were held under the respective district chiefs in which they conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Ghulam Nabi Azad.
In Jammu condolence meeting was organised under the chairmanship of Sh. Vipin Nischal, In Leh Caption Tashi Spulber, Doda Surinder Manhas, Samba Jagbir Singh, Kathua Rajinder Singh, Rajouri Haji Shukar Din. Kupwara Rafiq Ahmed and various other districts and Tehsil level meeting were held.
Meanwhile, a fax communication said that Congress Seva Dal Delhi office bearers also held a condole meeting, following the death of the mother of Hon’ble Union Minister Sh, Ghulam Nabi Azad. In their condolence message Jagdish Tytler MP, General Secretary AICC & I/C Congress Seva Dal All India and Mohinder Joshi Chief All India Seva Dal conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Ghulam Nabi Azad and other members of the bereaved family. They prayed almighty for peace to the departed soul in heaven.
