| 4 families of road accident victims get compensation in Kishtwar | | Kishtwar,October 06 (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today disbursed Rs. 4 lakh as compensation under the J&K Road Accident Victim Fund, based on the cases submitted by ARTO.
An amount of Rs. 1 lakh each was disbursed to the legal heirs of four deceased road accident victims.
This UT government's initiative aims to extend timely financial support to those affected by road accidents and reflects the District Administration's continued commitment towards assisting bereaved and distressed families.
The families who received compensation are Geeta Devi W/o Late Rajinder Kumar of Tagood; Guddi Devi W/o Late Rakesh Kumar of Paddar; Sudesha Devi W/o Late Naresh Kumar of Kwar Dool and Ghulam Rasool S/o Mukthar Sagar of Tander Sounder, Dachan.
