| Hindi Diwas Celebrated at Government Degree College Kargil | | Kargil, September 14 (Scoop News)-Jammu, Srinagar, September 14 (Scoop News)-Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil celebrated Hindi Diwas today with enthusiasm and active participation of students and faculty members. The programme was organised by the Department of Hindi under the direction of Principal, Dr. Amjad Ali Abbasi, to highlight the significance of Hindi as a language of communication, literature, culture and social awareness.
The programme was coordinated by Ms. Uzma Ahad, Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi. Students and faculty members actively participated in the event.
On the occasion, students of the Department of Hindi presented poems and literary compositions and shared their views on the importance of Hindi and its relevance in contemporary society. They also spoke on various aspects of Hindi language and literature, highlighting its contribution to cultural preservation and social consciousness.
Faculty members from different departments also shared their views on the importance of Hindi in education and society. They emphasised the role of language in preserving cultural values, strengthening communication and promoting social harmony.
The programme provided an engaging platform for students to showcase their literary and oratory skills while fostering greater appreciation for Hindi and its rich literary heritage.
