| GDC Kargil Student Secures Third Position in 1000m Athletics | |
Kargil, September 06 (Scoop News)-Mr. Jaffar Ali, a 1st Semester student of Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil, represented GDC Kargil in the National Sports Day 2026 and Youth Engagement Month celebrations and secured 3rd position in the Men’s 1000m Athletics event, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, UT Ladakh.
He will also represent GDC Kargil in the 11 KM Ladakh Marathon 2026, scheduled to be held on 13 September 2026.
The Principal, GDC Kargil, along with all faculty members, congratulated Jaffar Ali on his commendable achievement and appreciated his efforts in bringing laurels to the college. They wished him the very best for his upcoming participation in the Ladakh Marathon.
