| Ravinder Sharma pays tributes to Brig Usman on his martyrdom day | |
Sunderbani,July 03 (Scoop News)-Ravinder Sharma Former MLC and Chief Spokesperson JKPCC paid rich tributes to Brig Mohammed Usman, who was martyred on this day in 1948, at Jhangar, Nowshera.
Known as a " Loin of Nowshera ", Brig Usman bravely fought to retrieve the Indian territory from the illegal occupation of Pakistan raiders.
He set a great example of patriotism and loyalty towards his nation, as he had turned down the offer of Mr Jinnah to head the Pakistan Army. He fought till his last breadth and his last words were," I am dying but let not the territory we are fighting ,fall to enemy.
He was a true son of Bharat, said Mr Sharma ,recalling his own real uncle Hav Deputy Lal Vrc, who too laid down his life in Nowshera-Rajouri sector on 18th june 1948, eighteen days before Brig Mohammed Usman' martyrdom
