| SVMM Charitable Hospital Celebrates National Doctors' Day | |
Jammu, July 01 (Scoop News)-Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission (SVMM) Charitable Hospital, Ambphalla, celebrated National Doctors' Day by felicitating its doctors in recognition of their selfless service, dedication, and invaluable contribution to patient care.
The function was graced by the Members of the Management Committee of SVMM, including Dr. Subash Gupta, Chief Patron; Dr. Satyadev Gupta, Patron; Sh. Amar Chand Gupta, President; Sh. B. B. Gupta, Senior Vice President; Sh. Dharamvir Chopra, Vice President; Sh. B. S. Jamwal, General Secretary; Sh. Mohan Singh Chouhan, Treasurer; Dr. Sachin Gupta, Treasurer, along with Dr. Arvind Kohli, Medical Director; Dr. Rabinder Rattan Pal, Medical Superintendent; and Dr. Yashpal Karsyal, Assistant Medical Superintendent.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Satyadev Gupta, Patron, SVMM, highlighted the life and remarkable contributions of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, commemorating the birth and death anniversary of the legendary physician and former Chief Minister of West Bengal, which is observed every year as National Doctors' Day.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Amar Chand Gupta, President, extended his heartfelt greetings to all doctors and appreciated their dedication, compassion, and selfless service towards society.
Dr. Arvind Kohli, Medical Director, expressed his gratitude to the Management Committee for honouring the doctors on the occasion. He reaffirmed the commitment of the medical fraternity to continue serving patients with compassion, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
The programme was attended by consultants and specialists representing various departments of the hospital, including Cardiology, Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery (CVTS), Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, ENT, Pathology, Urology, Anaesthesiology, Dentistry, General & Laparoscopic Surgery, Neonatology, Radiology, and Gastroenterology the services of which are available in the hospital. The programme concluded with a special felicitation ceremony, during which the Management Committee honoured all the doctors by presenting them with mementos in recognition of their outstanding professional excellence, and selfless service.
Sh. B. S. Jamwal, General Secretary, presented the vote of thanks and expressed his sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries, doctors, consultants, and participants for their gracious presence and wholehearted support for the welfare of this institution with their support and affiliation .
