| Chief Secretary Ashish Kundra Visits Hinaskote, Assures Action on Public Demands | |
Kargil, June 07 (Scoop News)-Chief Secretary, Ladakh, Shri Ashish Kundra, en route to Kargil district, visited Hinaskote village today and interacted with the local public.
The village representatives warmly welcomed the Chief Secretary and expressed their gratitude for his personal visit and for taking the time to listen to public grievances. The villagers also conveyed their appreciation for granting district status to the region.
During the interaction, the Councillor and other village representatives submitted a memorandum highlighting several key issues, including preservation of the Gompa (monastery), construction of a flood protection bund, widening and blacktopping of roads, improvement of irrigation facilities, and upgradation of the Medical Sub-Centre to a New Type Primary Health Centre, among other concerns.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Secretary congratulated the villagers on their association with the newly formed Sham district. He stated that he has directed the concerned officials to take note of all the issues raised and assured that due consideration would be given to all genuine demands.
