DC Changthang Reviews Progress of Jal Jeevan Mission Works in Durbuk and Nyoma Region

Nyoma, June 03 (Scoop News)-A review meeting regarding the progress of ongoing works under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Durbuk and Nyoma region was convened today under the chairmanship of Nitish Rajora, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Changthang, UT Ladakh. The meeting was conducted in online mode and attended by officers and representatives of the concerned departments.
During the meeting, the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department presented the latest status of various JJM projects being implemented across the region. The progress of ongoing works, challenges faced during execution, and measures required for timely completion were discussed in detail.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the pace of implementation and emphasized the importance of ensuring the timely completion of all pending works to provide safe and adequate drinking water facilities to the residents of the area. Concerned officers were directed to closely monitor project activities and address bottlenecks on priority.
The meeting concluded with directions to all stakeholders to strengthen coordination and expedite the remaining works under the Jal Jeevan Mission to achieve the targets within the stipulated timelines.
