| Grand celebrations mark first day of Baisakhi Festival at Bhaderwah | |  Bhaderwah, April 13 (Scoop News)- The first day of the vibrant Baisakhi festival was celebrated by organizing a series of Fairs (Melas) across Bhaderwah Valley, drawing large gatherings of people to the venues. The festival, which holds cultural and agricultural significance, witnessed active participation from locals and visitors alike.
The district administration ensured smooth conduct of the celebrations by extending full cooperation and making proper arrangements for safety, traffic management and public convenience. All Baisakhi melas in the region were organized in a well-coordinated manner, reflecting a festive spirit and communal harmony.
To oversee the arrangements, Tehsildar Kamal Preet Singh was deputed at Subar Nag Chinta, while the Naib Tehsildar Atkhar Mohammad Amin supervised the areas from Hirna Nag Mathola to Bhatoli. In addition, several administrative magistrates were deployed at different locations to monitor the events and maintain law and order.
The lively atmosphere, filled with joy, cultural activities and traditional fervor, marked a successful beginning of the Baisakhi celebrations in Bhaderwah.
