Jammu, April 01 (Scoop News)- Jammu Division of Northern Railway has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to passenger safety and service by successfully recovering and returning a lost bag containing valuables to its rightful owner.
According to officials, the incident occurred when a passenger inadvertently left behind a bag on Train No. 12413 during the journey. Displaying prompt action, the onboard staff recovered the unattended bag and handed it over to the Railway Protection Force at Kathua for further action.
In a commendable display of coordination, Niteshwar Manhas and Kamlesh Sharma extended exceptional support during late-night hours to ensure the safe and timely return of the bag. Owing to their efficient efforts, the bag was swiftly transported to Pathankot Cantonment, where, after due verification, it was handed over to the passenger.
The passenger expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Railways and its staff, confirming that all valuables—including a mobile phone and important documents—were found completely safe and intact. Reaffirming its dedication, the Jammu Division assured passengers that its staff remain ever vigilant and committed to ensuring a safe, secure, and pleasant travel experience for all.
