| ADC Leh Reviews Arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations | |
Leh, March 17 (Scoop News)- The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Leh, Mukul Beniwal, IAS, chaired a meeting today in his office chamber to review preparations for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in the district.
During the meeting, the ADC directed the FCS & CA Department to ensure adequate availability of ration and other essential commodities. He also reviewed parking and security arrangements with the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Leh, and emphasized the need for proper traffic regulation and parking management.
Additionally, the ADC instructed the R&B Department to make necessary arrangements at the Polo Ground, including seating and other logistical requirements, ensuring that all facilities are in place well ahead of the festival.
He further stressed maintaining proper sanitation and cleanliness at the venue, directing concerned departments to complete all necessary works before the 19th of March.
It was also informed that a public address (PA) system will be installed at the Polo Ground and Idgah by the Information Department to facilitate smooth conduct of the celebrations.
The ADC held detailed discussions with all concerned departments to ensure that the celebrations are conducted in a smooth, safe, and hassle-free manner across the district.
