| BRABU VC Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai conferred with Prestigious 'Fellowship of the CASMB' Award | |  Muzaffarpur/Varanasi,March 17 (Scoop News)- Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai, Vice-Chancellor of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU) and a senior professor at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), has been honored with the prestigious 'Fellowship of the Chamber for Advancement of Small and Medium Businesses' (CASMB) award. The award was presented by Dr. Nitish Bharadwaj, a former Member of Parliament and the renowned personality who personified the divine and unique character of Shri Krishna on screen. The award recognizes Prof. Rai’s 30 years of work in Dairy Science and Food Technology, specifically for linking academic research with industrial applications and supporting technical growth in the MSME sector. Prof. Rai has authored over 195 high-impact research publications in international journals. His work with several top-tier foreign universities and his international research network have positioned him as a global authority in Food Technology. Accepting the honor, Prof. Rai thanked CASMB President Dr. Prabodh Halde, Chairman Nilesh Lele, and General Secretary Dr. Umesh Kamble. He highlighted that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to turn students into 'job creators' rather than 'job seekers.' .VC Prof. Rai noted that the Incubation Cell at BRABU is now providing resources and mentorship to help students scale their ideas into startups.
