| BADC Condemns Assassination Attempt on Farooq Abdullah | |
Jammu, March 12 (Scoop News)-Dr. Shazad Ahmed Malik, Chairman, Jammu & Kashmir Border Area Development Conference (JKBADC) & Former Vice Chancellor, has strongly condemned the dastardly assassination attempt on former Chief Minister and National Conference President, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, at a marriage function in Greater Kailash area of Jammu.
Expressing shock and outrage, BADC Chairman said, "This cowardly act against a leader of Dr. Farooq Abdullah's stature is an attack on the entire democratic fabric of our society and hose responsible must be brought to justice without delay".
The BADC Chairman also demanded a thorough investigation and accountability for the serious lapses of vvip security, and called upon all political parties and citizens to stand united in condemning this heinous act.
He also conveyed his heartfelt relief and solidarity to Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and their family.
