| CUKashmir watches post-budget webinar address by PM | | Ganderbal,March 09 (Scoop News)- Faculty members, research scholars and students across all the campuses of the Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) enthusiastically watched the address of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, during the Post-Budget Webinar on the theme “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas—Fulfilling Aspirations of People” here Monday.
Deans of Schools, Heads and Coordinators of Departments, led the collective viewing of the live address, with the webinar focussing on the topic “Education, Skills and University Townships,” highlighting key policy directions and developmental initiatives announced in the Union Budget 2026–27.
Highlighting key policy directions, Hon’ble Prime Minister lauded the evolving mindset of India’s youth as the nation’s greatest strength and called for an education system that matches this spirit. Shri Narendra Modi highlighted that in the country, continuous efforts are being made to link education with employment and enterprise. The Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized that the New Education Policy provides the foundation for a curriculum that must stay aligned with market demands and the real-world economy, specifically in fields like AI, automation, and the digital economy. “We will have to accelerate the process of linking our education system with the real-world economy,” noted Shri Modi.
In his concluding remarks, the Hon’ble Prime Minister highlighted the importance of synergy between institutions, industry, and academia to accelerate national progress expressing confidence that these discussions would provide a solid roadmap for the future and solidify the foundation of a Developed India. “With such efforts, the foundation of a Developed India will be further strengthened,” concluded the Hon’ble PM.
