| Police seizes dumper involved in illegal soil extraction in Pulwama; FIR registered | |
Srinagar, January 15 (Scoop News)- Continuing its efforts to curb illegal activities and ensure strict enforcement of law, Police in Pulwama during the intervening night seized a dumper bearing registration No. JK03L-7959
The said vehicle was intercepted during routine checking and upon verification, it was found to be involved in unauthorized extraction/transportation of soil. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 07/2026 under sections 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and 03 of the PPD Act has been registered at Police Station Litter, and investigation has been taken up.
J&K Police reiterates its commitment to take stringent action against violators of law and urges the general public to cooperate with police and report any such illegal activities for timely action.
