Jammu, January 10 (Scoop News)- Astro India Automobile, the authorized dealer of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, today unveiled the XEV 9S and the XUV 7XO , amidst a gathering of patrons and customers & in the presence of Chairman Mr Mohinder Gupta, MD Mr Vikram Mahajan, Director Mr Satyam Gupta, Dr C.D Gupta along with the team of Executive Members of Amar Singh Club.
XEV 9S is India’s first authentic electric-origin 7-seater SUV, marking a significant expansion of the country’s electric mobility landscape. Priced from ₹19.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the XEV 9S is built ground-up on Mahindra’s advanced INGLO electric platform and powered by MAIA, India’s fastest automotive intelligence system.
Positioned as “India’s Big New Electric”, the XEV 9S has been conceived for modern Indian families and professionals seeking uncompromised space, comfort and performance. With its electric-first three-row architecture, whisper-quiet ride and best-in-class cabin and storage volumes, the SUV delivers what Mahindra calls “space that isn’t negotiated and electric that isn’t small.”
The XEV 9S introduces a 70 kWh battery pack delivering 180 kW of power and 380 Nm of torque, while higher variants go up to 79 kWh, offering 210 kW and a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 7 seconds. The range comprises six variants, with the fully loaded Pack Three (79 kWh) priced at ₹29.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings open on January 14, 2026, with customer deliveries commencing January 23, 2026.
