| Sat Sharma, Priya Sethi felicitate Rollball World Cup gold medalists | | 
Jammu, January 05 (Scoop News)- Sat Sharma CA, President, J&K BJP, and Rajya Sabha MP, accompanied by BJP J&K Vice President Priya Sethi, Anita Gandotra and Sunita Sareen on Monday felicitated the winners of the 7th Rollball World Cup at the BJP Headquarters in Jammu.
The felicitation ceremony was held to honour the outstanding achievement Hiteshwar Singh and Suvidha Sarin at the 7th Roll Ball World Cup, held from December 14 to 18, 2025, in Dubai, where the Indian team brought laurels to the nation.
Representing India, Hiteshwar Singh and Suvidha Sarin, who competed in the Men's and Women’s categories respectively clinched gold medals in their respective events, bringing immense pride and laurels to the Jammu and Kashmir.
Congratulating Hiteshwar Singh and Suvidha Sarin on their remarkable achievement, Sat Sharma CA praised their dedication, discipline, and hard work, stating that their achievement has made not only Jammu and Kashmir but the entire country proud.
He said that such international victories reflect the immense sporting potential of India’s youth and inspire aspiring athletes, especially young girls, to pursue sports with determination.
“Hiteshwar and Suvidha gold medals are matter of pride for the nation. Their success shows that with commitment and the right support, our athletes can excel on the global stage,” Sat Sharma said.
He further emphasized that the Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has taken several initiatives to promote sports, including Khelo India and improved infrastructure, which are providing new opportunities to sportspersons across the country.
BJP J&K Vice President Priya Sethi also lauded Hiteshwar and Suvidha for their remarkable performance and perseverance. She said that the victory of the Indian Roll Ball Team sends a strong message about the growing participation and success of women in sports.
“Suvidha has become a role model for young girls. Her achievement proves that women can excel in every field when given equal opportunities and encouragement,” Priya Sethi stated.
“J&K youth possess exceptional talent and the ability to compete at any national and international level. With the right platform, encouragement and institutional support, they can excel and bring glory to the region,” She said.
She added that achievements like these serve as an inspiration for young athletes and strengthen Jammu and Kashmir’s presence on the global sports map.
