Good Governance Week Observed under “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore 2025” at Murgi Village

Nubra, December 19 (Scoop News)- As part of the observance of Good Governance Week, a Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore 2025 outreach camp was organised today at Murgi village of Tehsil Sumoor. The camp was conducted under the chairmanship of the Tehsildar, Sumoor, Tashi Jorgais.

The initiative aimed to strengthen citizen centric service delivery, promote good governance, facilitate doorstep redressal of public grievances, and ensure effective and timely delivery of government services.

Officials from various departments interacted with local residents and addressed their queries, grievances and concerns related to public services and local development. Necessary guidance was provided, and several issues were resolved on the spot to enhance service delivery.

During the camp, various services were delivered on the spot.
The Revenue Department issued 5 electoral roll , 3 Resident Certificates, 3 Income Certificates and 4 Scheduled Tribe Certificates. Additionally, 14 Aadhaar card applications were processed, while several others are awaited.

The Health Department facilitated the creation of 19 ABHA IDs, conducted 14 NCD screenings and provided medical treatment to 15 patients.

The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department finalised 44 ration cards from Kuri village and 22 ration cards from Murgi village.

15 Job Cards and 21 Labour Cards were filled by the Rural Development Department.

The Animal and Sheep Husbandry Departments distributed essential veterinary medicines, including deltamethrin, antiseptic spray, glycerine, potassium permanganate, calcium and albendazole. Dressing materials were also provided and treatment was administered to 90 livestock.

Officials from other departments also extended assistance to residents as per their requirements.

The programme concluded with an address by the Tehsildar, Sumoor, Tashi Jorgais, who assured the residents of the administration’s continued support and reiterated that delivering essential services and assistance to the public remains the foremost responsibility of the administration
