| Parents’ Day-cum-Community Mobilisation Event Held at MS Girls Deskit, Nubra | |
Deskit, Nubra, December 02 (Scoop News)-MS Girls Deskit, Nubra organised a Parents’ Day-cum-Community Mobilisation event today with enthusiastic participation from parents, students, villagers, and local stakeholders. Ms. Sonam Dolkar, ZEO Nubra, graced the programme as the Chief Guest, while former Honourable Executive Councillor for Education, Mr. Tsering Angchuk, attended as the Guest of Honour.
The event witnessed the presence of the Principal of HSS Deskit, ZEPO, Headmaster of MS Boys Deskit, and other dignitaries, along with villagers from Deskit, Goba, Ama Tsogspa, parents, and students.
In her address, Chief Guest Ms. Sonam Dolkar appreciated the commendable efforts of the Headmaster and the overall holistic development of the school. She highlighted that the school’s enrolment has increased to 80—now the highest in the zone. Students of MS Girls Deskit delivered an excellent performance and presentation, earning appreciation from all attendees.
The event was well organised under the leadership of Headmaster Ms. Tsewang Dolma, supported by teachers and SMC members. On this occasion, the Headmaster and SMC members also honoured the former Executive Councillor, Mr. Tsering Angchuk, for his valuable contributions to the school.
