| Tarigami chairs environment committee meeting | | 
Jammu, November 25 (Scoop News)- A meeting of the Committee on Environment of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held today under the Chairmanship of MLA, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, to discuss the environmental issue.
Threadbare discussions were held on environment related issues pertaining to illegal Mining, conservation and preservation of wetland areas, rising threats of cancer decease due to pesticides in Kashmir particular south Kashmir besides other various issues pertaining to save environment.
Legislators, Rajiv Jasrotia, Sajjad Shafi, Zafar Ali Khatana, Irshad Rasool Kar and Yudhvir Sethi attended the meeting. They gave their valuable suggestions regarding various environment issues in respect of protection of environment in Jammu and Kashmir.
