| People across J&K embracing BJP’s vision of development and peace: Ashok Koul | | Jammu, November 25 (Scoop News)-A group of unemployed engineers including Jai Karan Singh, Prabjot Singh, Vijay Singh, Manjot Singh, and several others from Tral Constituency, District Pulwama, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul welcomed them into the party. Party leader Er. Syed Showkat Gayoor Andrabi, and others were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Ashok Koul also felicitated Choudhry Farid Bajard, a well-known social activist and dedicated BJP worker from Kupwara, for being nominated as a member of the Wildlife Board. He lauded Bajard’s grassroots social service and commitment to public welfare, stating that such recognition reflects the party’s appreciation of sincere and impactful societal contributions.
Welcoming the new entrants, Ashok Koul said that it is extremely encouraging to see educated youth from Kashmir, including Tral, stepping forward to embrace the BJP with open arms. He said that the people of both Kashmir and Jammu have understood that the BJP is the only party that works for every section without discrimination or bias. He said that BJP’s development model is inclusive, transparent, and focused on long-term peace and prosperity.
Koul added that the youth are increasingly acknowledging the unprecedented developmental transformation brought by the BJP-led governments at the Centre. He said that every region of J&K has received equal attention including the highways, health infrastructure, educational institutions, rural development, empowerment of women, or welfare schemes for the marginalized. He stressed that the people are joining BJP because they see honesty, development, and stability in our ideology.
Highlighting the role of youth in shaping the future of J&K, Koul stressed that the BJP is committed to creating dignified employment opportunities, boosting entrepreneurship, and ensuring peaceful, progressive living conditions. He urged the new members to actively contribute to strengthening the party at the grassroots and to work with dedication for community welfare.
The new entrants expressed confidence that the BJP provides a platform that values merit, vision, and genuine public service. They said that they were inspired by the party’s development-oriented policies and the transformative changes taking place across the Union Territory.
