| Director Agriculture Reviews Physical & Financial Progress under CSS, CAPEX, HADP and NABARD | |
Jammu, November 25 (Scoop News)-Director Agriculture Jammu, Sh. Anil Gupta, today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the physical and financial progress under various schemes, including CSS, CAPEX, HADP and NABARD.
The meeting was attended by Sh. Aman Jyoti Sharma, Joint Director Agriculture (SLUB/Farms); Sh. Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar, Deputy Director (Planning); Sh. Vishnu Kant Sharma, Accounts Officer; Sh. N.P. Singh, Assistant Agrostologist; Sh. Raj Kumar, Technical Officer HADP (DoAJ), besides other senior officers and staff of the department. All Chief Agriculture Officers of Jammu Division attended the meeting through video conferencing.
During the meeting, Director Agriculture issued strict directions that the Monthly Progress Report (MPR) for all schemes must be submitted to the Directorate by tomorrow without fail. He further instructed all concerned officers to ensure that pending DPRs are completed and submitted immediately.
While reviewing the progress under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), Director Agriculture stressed on expediting activities under the Integrated Farming System (IFS) Project. He directed officers to clear all pending bills related to the project on priority.
The Director also conducted a detailed review of expenditure under NABARD and instructed the officers to complete all pending works and liabilities pertaining to the Baba Jitto Project at Doda district. He further directed that the pending expenditure and bills of Agronomist (VIS), SM Farm Chinore, SM Farm Chakroi and Kathua district be cleared at the earliest.
Director Sh. Anil Gupta emphasized timely execution of works and financial discipline to ensure efficient implementation of all departmental programmes.
