| Outreach Camp Held Under “Mimangs si Sjabstoks” Campaign | | at Domkhar, Domkhar Dho, Takmachik and Urbis Villages |
Khaltsi, November 17 (Scoop News)-A comprehensive public outreach camp under the “Mimangs si Sjabstoks” (Administration at Your Doorstep) campaign was successfully organised across the villages of Domkhar, Domkhar Dho, Takmachik and Urbid under Khaltsi Sub-Division. The initiative aimed to bring government services, welfare schemes, and grievance-redressal mechanisms directly to the residents of remote areas.
A large number of villagers participated in the camp at each location, availing on-the-spot services offered by various departments including Health, Agriculture, Education, Animal Husbandry, Social Welfare, ICDS, PDD, Food, PHE, Irrigation, Horticulture and Revenue. Officers and officials briefed the gathering about ongoing government programmes and encouraged people to benefit from them.
During the programme, villagers highlighted key issues related to connectivity, drinking water supply, irrigation channels, road maintenance, and welfare schemes. The officials responded promptly, offering necessary assistance, clarifications, and guidance. Several minor grievances were resolved immediately, while major demands were formally recorded for further action.
Health check-ups, issuance of certificates, awareness on social welfare schemes, ration card update, EKYC, Aadhaar-related services and enrolment support under flagship programmes were provided during the camp. Many issues raised by villagers were resolved on the spot.
At Dhomkhar Burma, the BSNL network, which had been functioning poorly for some time, has now been fully restored. Meanwhile, BSNL services at Kurambik are expected to be restored soon.
The outreach initiative under “Mimangs si Sjabstoks” continues to strengthen grassroots governance across Khaltsi Sub-Division by ensuring accessible public services and fostering direct communication between the administration and rural communities.
