Sat Sharma, Sunil Sharma call for stronger public outreach by leaders and MLAs

Reasi, November 15 (Scoop News)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir conducted an organizational meeting of District Reasi, chaired by J&K BJP President & Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA), Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, and J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul.

J&K BJP General Secretary Gopal Mahajan, District Prabhari Narain Singh, District President Reasi Rohit Dubey, District Seh-Prabhari Puran Chand, MLAs Baldev Raj Sharma and Kuldeep Dubey, Vistarak Inderjeet Sharma, along with senior party leaders and workers, participated in the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma emphasized the need for BJP leaders and elected representatives to intensify grassroots engagements. He said that party leaders and MLAs must remain among the masses and work with complete dedication for the welfare of the people. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has repeatedly underlined the prominent role of elected representatives in public life, and we must follow this vision.

Sat Sharma stressed that every MLA and district-level leader should maintain a daily, approachable sitting in their respective offices to facilitate the common people. He said that the BJP’s commitment is to ensure that no citizen feels unheard. He said that the party's strength lies in its direct connection with the people, and we must further strengthen this bond.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Sharma said that an MLA’s foremost duty is to listen to the grievances, aspirations, and suggestions of the people. He said that the first responsibility of an MLA is to be accessible and to work tirelessly for the public, guided by the policies and principles of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He urged the party’s elected representatives to ensure maximum availability in their constituencies and maintain continuous dialogue with citizens.

Ashok Koul highlighted the importance of disciplined organizational functioning and collective responsibility. He said that BJP workers and leaders must stay rooted in society, understand the challenges on the ground, and respond promptly. He said that our strength comes from the trust people place in us, adding that public-centric working and regular office sittings should become a routine practice for all party representatives.
