| Housing & Urban Development Department Organises Roller Hockey Exhibition Match | | 
Leh, November 06 (Scoop News)-The Roller Hockey Exhibition Match, organised by the Housing and Urban Development Department, UT Ladakh, commenced today at STP Park, Agling Leh, as part of the commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram, which is being celebrated throughout India from November 7th to 14th.
The event was attended by officers and officials of the Housing and Urban Development Department led by Director, Moses Kunzang, along with representatives from Ladakh Roller Skating Association. The exhibition match between Team A and Team B witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased the growing interest in roller sports among the youth of Ladakh.The officials of Municipal Committe Leh and Igoo Phey Division highlighted the initiatives under Re Use Strategy of treated water at Sewerage Treatment Plant.
The overall initiative aims to promote emerging sports disciplines in the region while encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle among the youth and also to promote Swachhata hi Seva campaign with reuse strategy of treated water. Swachhata themed Tshirts and water bottles were also distributed during the event.
The exhibition match underscored the region’s dedication to nurturing talent and fostering community engagement through sports.
