| DC Leh Meets Nambardars of Khaltse & Likir Sub-Divisions | | Leh, November 06 (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Romil Singh Donk (IAS), convened a meeting with the Nambardars of Khaltse and Likir Sub-Divisions at the DC Conference Hall, Leh. The meeting was attended by Shri Sonam Nurboo (JKAS), Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Leh, Shabir Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Leh, Tsewang Gyaltson, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Leh, and Rigzin Yangdol, Headquarter Assistant to DC Leh. DC Leh extended a warm welcome to all the Nambardars and expressed his appreciation for their participation. He briefed the gathering on the upcoming campaign “Mimangs-Si-sJabstogs”, an initiative aimed at addressing public grievances in all Villages of Leh and ensuring the effective implementation of government schemes. He emphasized that the campaign will focus on resolving issues at the grassroots level and improving accessibility to essential public services in the coming days and every village will be covered in next 15 days. Speaking at the meeting, ADDC Leh highlighted that the Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) will act as vital links between the administration and the public. He urged the Nambardars to maintain close coordination with the SDMs to strengthen communication and ensure smooth governance. The upcoming Mimangs-Si-sJabstogs camps will provide on-the-spot solutions to issues related to Aadhaar, Golden Cards, and other administrative documents. The Nambardars were also encouraged to contact higher authorities directly if their concerns remain unresolved at the camp or SDM level. On behalf of the Nambardars, Tsewang Stobdan, Nambardar of Alchi and President of the Nambardar Association, presented traditional Khataks to DC Leh as a token of gratitude and appreciation for organizing the meeting. He expressed optimism that the administration would act promptly to resolve the issues raised. During the session, the Nambardars individually presented concerns from their respective villages, primarily focusing on challenges related to the Jal Jeevan Mission, road and telecommunication connectivity, as well as education and healthcare facilities. DC Leh assured them that the administration would take prompt and effective measures to address these issues and ensure the welfare of all communities.
