Mega Parent-Teacher meeting held at GHSS Dradhu
Doda, November 04 (Scoop News)-A Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was successfully organized today at Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Dradhu with the objective to foster greater cooperation between parents and teachers for the holistic growth and development of students. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from parents and guardians, who actively interacted with the teaching staff to review the academic performance, behavior, and overall well-being of their wards.

During the meeting, parents were sensitized about the Government-sponsored schemes and educational initiatives aimed at enhancing student welfare. The School Lecturer Kismat Singh Jaral delivered an informative talk detailing programs such as the Mid-Day Meal Scheme (PM Poshan), National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Inclusive Education, Escorts and Transport Allowance, Exposure Tours, ULLAS, UDISE, NEP 2020, KGBVs, Samiksha and Free Uniform Distribution. These initiatives were elaborated to ensure parents understand the benefits available for their children under different welfare programs.

The Head of Institution Satish Kumar expressed heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their active participation and emphasized the crucial role of continuous home-school communication in improving student outcomes. He urged parents to remain in touch with teachers and take interest in both the academic and co-curricular progress of their children.

The meeting concluded with positive feedback from parents, led by Ex-Sarpanch, Ashok Kumar Sharma, who lauded the school’s efforts in promoting transparency, accountability and awareness. He appreciated the proactive approach of the staff in bridging the gap between the school and community and in ensuring that every child benefits from government initiatives designed for their growth and empowerment.
