| Mumbai Students Receives Insight into Post-370 J&K from Community Leaders | | Jammu, November 04 (Scoop News)-A 20-member delegation from Lokmanya Gurukul, Dombivli, Mumbai, is currently in Jammu as part of its annual 'Motherland Orientation Camp.' The group, consisting of 17 students and 3 teachers from the RSS-guided institution, held a special guidance session at the Trikuta Yatri Niwas to deepen their understanding about Jammu & Kashmir. The Chief Guest, Parshotam Dadhichi, President of the Shree Sanatan Dharma Sabha Jammu Kashmir, provided an insightful address on the rich history of Jammu and Kashmir and the developmental changes that have occurred since the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A. His lecture provided the students with a first-hand, informed perspective on the contemporary socio-political landscape of J&K. The event was also attended by esteemed local personalities, including Maheshwar Ji, Adarsh Gupta Ji, Ashok Sharma (Journalist, Dainik Jagran), and Social Activist Keshav Chopra.
Speaking on the occasion Venkatesh Prabhudesai, Activity Head (Upakram Pramukh), emphasized the importance of the session and said that "The guidance session provided by Shree Parshotam Dadhichi was invaluable. It perfectly aligns with our 'Motherland Orientation Camp' objective of providing our students with a deep, experiential understanding of our nation's history and current realities, particularly the developmental progress in Jammu and Kashmir. We are grateful for their time and wisdom."
Lokmanya Gurukul is known for its distinctive 12-hour curriculum focused on academic, soft skill, and character development, promoting national consciousness through annual tours.This year's visit to Jammu continues the school's tradition of educational tours, which in previous years have included visits to the RSS Headquarters in Nagpur, Sindhudurg District (Maharashtra), and Dang District (Gujarat). The current delegation includes 13 females (12 students, 1 teacher) and 7 males (5 students, 2 teachers).
