| Karra launches Ghar Ghar Dastak - Har Ghar Dastak in Block President’s Conclave | | Slogan reiterate Party’s demand for restoration of Statehood to J&K | 
Srinagar,November 04 (Scoop News)-Ghar-Ghar Dastak, Har-Ghar Dastak is not mere a slogan, it is a reiteration of Congress Party’s strong urge for restoration of complete Statehood to J&K. Under the movement district presidents, especially block presidents, will reach out to every household in blocks, Panchayats to seek their full cooperation in its (Congress) endeavors to bring back lost dignity and honour to J&K. The Congress Party is committed to take the Statehood fight to logical conclusion.
J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra said this while addressing Party’s block president’s conclave at Srinagar Party office in which Coordinators and District Presidents of Kashmir region spoke at length on the significance of the movement Ghar-Ghar Dastak Har-Ghar Dastak, describing the slogan appealing and a reflection of Party’s uncompromising fight for Statehood restoration.
JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra who chaired the conclave strongly urged upon the Block Presidents to make Ghar-Ghar Dastak Har-Ghar Dastak a public movement in their respective blocks and seek full public support to Congress Party’s endeavours to bring back statehood, which has been delayed by the Centre aiming to rule J&K directly. The delay in restoration of Statehood has disempowered the public, even the elected Govt is not able to perform their legitimate duties towards the public for which they have been chosen, with the result common people are suffering on every count.
The common man of both Jammu and Kashmir is the victim of Centre Govt’s hypocrisy and wrong policies leading to more sufferings and backwardness, rising unemployment, lack of development, economic slowdown and various other issues, which have remained unattended in absence of the Statehood, Karra added and said J&K was stripped off the protection it was enjoying, but the Congress Party shall continue to fight for the statehood, will expose BJP’s fake narratives and false promises made to people at the time of degradation of full-fledged princely state of J&K, which was once considered a country, but Modi Govt inorder to fulfill its agenda downgraded J&K to UT Level, which is very unfortunate rather condemnable.
Ghar-Dastak Har-Dastak movement will be a successful and indigenous movement of Congress, as Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq, we will not remain silent on Centre’s Govt’s dilly dallying tactics on Statehood restoration, we will involve every individual in Congress party’s fight for restoration of dignity and honour of J&K, Karra told the Centre Govt, cautioning that it’s approach is neither in the interest of people nor will address BJP’s shortcomings and it’s policies, which are detrimental to J&K, fraught with serious consequences. JKPCC President said.
