Police returns 29 mobile phones to rightful owners in Handwara | |
Srinagar, October 09 (Scoop News)- Police in Handwara have successfully recovered 29 missing/stolen mobile phones worth lakhs of rupees and returned them to their rightful owners.
The recovered phones were handed over to the owners at Cyber Cell, Handwara, in a brief meeting in which SDPO Handwara and the mobile phone owners were present.
While interacting with the mobile phone owners, SDPO Handwara emphasised that J&K Police, is committed to serve the people and ensure their grievances are addressed in a timely and transparent manner. He further appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Cyber Cell team in tracing the missing devices through technical expertise and coordination with different agencies.
The recovered phones were traced in response to different complaints received by the Cyber Cell from various areas of Police District Handwara. The timely recovery and return of these devices reflect the efficiency and dedication of the Cyber Cell team in ensuring transparency and accountability in police functioning.
The complainants jubilated on getting back their phones expressed their gratitude to J&K Police for their prompt action and people-friendly policing initiatives.
