| Wildlife Protection Division Kargil organises awareness program at Stakpa school | |
Kargil,October 03 (Scoop News)-The Wildlife Protection Division, Kargil, on the second day of the Wildlife Week–2025 celebrations, organized a series of awareness activities at Government Middle School, Stakpa. The programme featured a painting competition, an interactive session, and training in the making of felted toys.
The event witnessed the active participation of around 40 students and their teachers. Along with representatives of the Wildlife Department, Mohd. Kazim, a member of WWF, delivered a briefing on the significance of wildlife conservation and its role in maintaining ecological balance. The departmental representatives emphasized the importance of harmonious coexistence between humans and animals, which also forms the central theme of National Wildlife Week–2025.
The programme successfully engaged young minds in creative expression and sensitized them towards environmental stewardship, fostering awareness of the need to protect and preserve the rich biodiversity of the region
