| Youth Services & Sports brings Divisional Kabaddi extravaganza to Indoor Stadium Doda | | Doda, October 01 (Scoop News)- The Department of Youth Services & Sports (YSS) organized a grand inaugural ceremony today to mark the start of Inter-District Division Level Kabaddi Tournament for U/17 Boys at the Indoor Sports Stadium Doda.
The event is being held under the direction of Director General YSS J&K, Anuradha Gupta (with the guidance of Joint Director YSS Jammu, Vinakshi Koul and supervision of District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO) Kishtwar, Jaffer Haider Sheikh.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Jaffer Haider Sheikh, who attended as the Chief Guest.
In his address, he applauded the sportsmanship of the young athletes and commended the department’s efforts in providing a strong platform for budding talent to showcase their skills at the divisional level. He further expressed confidence that such tournaments not only encourage healthy competition but also instill discipline and holistic growth among youth.
The opening day witnessed high-voltage Kabaddi clashes as teams from different districts competed with passion and determination.
