J&K Police conducts traffic awareness programme in Handwara



Srinagar, September 17 (Scoop News)-J&K Police organized a traffic awareness programme at Main Chowk Handwara in collaboration with the students of New Millennium Public School, Handwara.

During the programme, students were sensitized about the importance of adhering to traffic rules for their own safety and that of others. Special emphasis was laid on the mandatory use of seat belts while driving and crash helmets while riding two-wheelers.

The students were also educated on the significance of traffic signs, pedestrian safety, and other road safety measures. The programme aimed to instill a sense of responsibility among young citizens and to spread awareness about safe driving practices within the community.

J&K Police reiterated its commitment to continuing such initiatives to promote traffic discipline and ensure public safety on roads.
