Government Polytechnic College Jammu launched the SEVA PAKHWADA

Jammu, September 17 (Scoop News)-Government Polytechnic College Jammu launched the SEVA PAKHWADA from 17th September-2025 to 02nd October-2025, enthusiastically under the dynamic leadership of Er. Talet Mahmood Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu. A fortnight activity dedicated to service and social responsibility, with a series of activities aimed at promoting community welfare, cleanliness, and student engagement is organized. Today on 17th of September 2025 under the Mission SEVA PAKHWADA organized in which large number of students and faculties participated. The observance began with a pledge ceremony where faculty, staff, and students reaffirmed their commitment to the values of selfless service and nation building. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal Er. Talet Mahmood of Government Polytechnic College Jammu highlighted the importance of SEVA PAKHWADA in instilling a spirit of empathy and social responsibility among students. He appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and staff, emphasizing that such initiatives strengthen the bond between educational institutions and society.

An awareness session on YUVA (Youth for Unnati and Vikas Abhiyan) mission was organized today at Government Polytechnic College Jammu by Sh. Tahmeed Ahmed Badam Lecturer-II T&T department (Nodal Officer YUVA-Udyam Jagriti) with the objective of sensitizing students about the importance of skill development, entrepreneurship, and nation building through youth empowerment. Speaking on the occasion Er. Talet Mahmood Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu who highlighted the vision of the YUVA Mission aimed at channelizing the energy of young students towards constructive and innovative initiatives. He emphasized that the mission provides a platform for the youth to develop their potential, contribute to society, and play a significant role in India’s growth story. Those who present during the session were Er. Sakshi Kapahi Lecturer-I I&C, Er. Yogesh Raina Lecturer-I Automobile Engineering Department (Resource Person Mission YUVA), Er Rishab Sharma Lecturer-I Civil Engineering Department (Resource Person Mission YUVA), and other faculties and students of the College.
