BJP holds crucial BLA1 meeting, asks to strengthen Booth-level structure

Jammu, July 09 (Scoop News)-The Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held an important organizational meeting of the party’s Booth Level Agents (BLA1) at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition in J&K Assembly and BJP General Secretary, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), and Parduman Singh, Election Management Department Incharge addressed the meeting.

BLA1 representatives from all Assembly Constituencies of Jammu Province attended the meeting. The core objective was to apprise them of the nomination process of BLA2 at the booth level and to formalize the nomination or renomination of existing BLA1s as per the party’s requirements.

Sat Sharma, while addressing the gathering, emphasized the vital role of both BLA1 and BLA2 in strengthening the party at the grassroots. He noted that their responsibilities become especially significant during the electoral process. "The BLAs play a crucial part in identifying new voters, ensuring necessary additions, deletions, and corrections in the electoral rolls, and keeping the voter list accurate and up to date. This is fundamental to ensuring success at the booth level," he said.

Sunil Sharma underscored the need for coordinated functioning at the booth level. He advised the BLA1 to work closely with the Shakti Kendra Pramukhs and Booth Presidents to ensure proper synchronization and smooth implementation of all election-related activities. “Unity at the grassroots ensures success at the top,” he added.

Ashok Koul urged the functionaries to meticulously follow the guidelines while selecting BLA2s and to remain vigilant during the process. He said the organizational strength of BJP lies in its disciplined and structured working style, and BLAs are the front soldiers of that structure.

Parduman Singh coordinated the proceedings and laid out the technical details regarding the nomination procedures and documentation.
