| Mahila Congress protests against BJP MLA Vikram Randhawa | |
Srinagar, June 05 (Scoop News)-J&K Pradesh Mahila Congress on Tuesday held strong protests and demanded action against BJP MLA Vikram Randhawa for his absurd utterances against Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Smt. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra aiming to divert the attention of the public from the utter failure of BJP on all fronts.
Reacting to the absurd utterances against Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Smt. Priyanka Gandhi, J&K Mahila Congress Workers led by Shameema Raina protested against the BJP MLA Vikram Randhawa for disrespecting the prestige of women, terming the utterances of Randhawa as unacceptable, uncalled for and highly objectionable, which deserves strong condemnation.
The heavy contingent of police deployed outside Srinagar Congress office stopped the Mahila Congress Workers from marching towards MA Road and pushed them back inside office premises.
On this occasion Mahila Congress strongly condemned the absurd comments of Vikram Randhawa and said Randhawa has crossed all limits of crudeness. It has become a new normal for BJP to disrespect women, what Vikram Randhawa has done is lying in the genesis of BJP, which has failed on all fronts, with the result, it (BJP) is desperate to run away from the real issues under the garb of targeting Congress Leadership.
The utterances of Randhawa is an absolute distraction from the real issues, but the people know as to what BJP has done or what it is telling inorder to hide behind failures, which is apparently visible, MC President Shameema Raina added and said the Nation will not tolerate the disrespect & slanderous comments against top Congress leadership, whose sacrifices towards the Nation are immense.
