| ADDC Leh reviews process and saturation status of key scheme and databases | |
Leh, June 05 (Scoop News)-Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Leh ,Sonam Nurboo (JKAS), chaired a comprehensive review meeting to access the process and saturation status of key welfare initiative, including Ayushman Bharat (Golden Card), Unique Disability ID (UDID), NFSA Ration Card, Aadhar Card and Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE) Database on June 4, 2025 at VC Room, DC Office Leh.
During the meeting, all the concerned departments provided detail process and current saturation status of Aadhaar, UDID, NFSA, Golden Card and UDISE. ADDC Leh laid strong emphasis on the need to enhance public awareness, particularly highlighting that children aged six years and above are eligible for Golden Cards under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
ADDC Leh further directed the Common Service Centres to conduct awareness campaigns in schools to ensure accuracy during Aadhaar card enrollment. He specifically stressed on the importance of preventing errors in spelling of names, addresses, and other crucial details during the application process.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer Leh, Chief Education Officer Leh, Medical Superintendent and officials from other concern departments.
