MALIN NGO Delegation Visits Home for Aged & Infirm, Ambphalla, Jammu | | Jammu, June 04 (Scoop News)- In a heart warming gesture of goodwill and compassion, the President of MALIN Senior Citizens Association for Needy People, Smt. Nirmla Chattoo, along with all Office-Bearers and Members of the Managing Committee of the NGO, paid a special visit to the Home for Aged & Infirm (popularly known as Old Age Home/Vridha Ashram), Ambphalla, Jammu. The visit was organized to bless and greet Dr. Dinesh Gupta on his recent appointment as Secretary of the Home, and to spend meaningful time with the Inmates. The delegation, comprising eminent citizens and members of the NGO, interacted warmly with the residents, conveying messages of empathy, encouragement, and support. A group of ladies from MALIN also presented devotional Bhajans, bringing joy and emotional upliftment to the Inmates. Prominent members of the visiting group, including S/Shri A.K. Arora, R.K. Kokroo, S.N. Kaul, Naresh Maini, and Smt. Sarla Kohli, Smt. Chanchal Popli, Mrs. Kokroo, Mr. Koul and and Dr. Rajinder Thappa addressed the gathering and encouraged the Inmates to live with positivity, leaving behind any pain of the past. Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Nirmla Chattoo expressed her appreciation for the management and staff of the Home, stating that she was deeply impressed by the level of care, cleanliness, and the sense of family fostered at the facility. Shri I.D. Soni, President of the Home, welcomed the delegation and extended heartfelt thanks for their thoughtful visit. He appreciated MALIN NGO’s dedication towards the welfare of the elderly and acknowledged their compassionate outreach. Ms. Kajal Dubey and Ms. Anannya Jamwal, interns from Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur, also shared their experiences and expressed affectionate sentiments for the Inmates whom they referred to as their "Grandparents." The event was conducted gracefully by Dr. Dinesh Gupta, Secretary of the Home. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Shri Satpal Sharma, Member of the Managing Committee. The visit concluded with a spirit of community bonding and shared humanity, reflecting the core values that guide the functioning of the Home and the benevolence of civil society organizations like MALIN.
