Srinagar, May 27 (Scoop News)-In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, police in Kulgam have seized 04 vehicles and arrested 4 persons for illegal extraction and transportation of minerals.
A Police party headed by SHO Police Station Kulgam seized four vehicles (01 Tipper, 01 Dumper, and 02 Tractors) and arrested four drivers for their involvement in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals. Accordingly, cases vide FIR Nos. 52 & 53/2025 under relevant sections of law have been registered in Police Station Kulgam and further investigation is going on in both cases.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding illegal mineral-related activities in their neighbourhood, so that timely action against the culprits will be taken.
