| Usman Majid leads extensive campaign trail in Bandipora Constituency | |
Srinagar, September 15 (Scoop News)-Former Minister and MLA Bandipora Usman Majid here on Sunday has intensified his election campaign across the Bandipora constituency, holding a series of meetings in various areas including Ahamsharief, Bilal Colony, Panar, Bapora, Arin, Aloosa, Shokbaba, Kudara, Shahgund, Naidkhai, Gamroo, and other areas. This vigorous campaign has garnered significant support and growing enthusiasm from the public. During these meetings, dozens of political workers from the Congress Party joined forces with Usman Majid.
Majid also welcomed dozens of political workers from various parties at his residence, including new entrants from Putushay, Kaloosa, Arin, Magnipora, and other parts of the constituency. He said that, I am deeply humbled by the trust and support of the people,". "Their decision to join us reflects their faith in our vision for Bandipora’s development."
Meanwhile, DDC Member Firdousa Akhtar, Block President Khan Mushtaq, and Eminent Academician Bashir Ahmad, while campaigning in Chuntimullah, Panar, and Bapora, urged workers and new entrants to intensify door-to-door campaigns, ensuring that every household understands the importance of the upcoming election. DDC Firdousa Akhtar also addressed a workers' meeting in Kudara, Ahamsharief, Bilal Colony and other areas, where she welcomed workers from Bapora who had shifted allegiance from the Congress Party. "The decision of these new entrants to join us is a testament to their confidence in Usman Majid's leadership and vision," Akhtar said.
Firdousa further added, "Usman Majid’s popularity among the masses is evident by the fact that both new and experienced individuals are joining the party fold with the hope of seeing Bandipora reach new heights in progress, prosperity, and development."
Addressing a series of meetings in Naidkhai Block, Majid outlined his vision for the constituency’s development. He announced plans to construct ecological parks in every block, including Naidkhai, to preserve the environment and provide residents with green spaces for recreation. Majid also emphasized the creation of safe and enjoyable spaces for children by establishing parks in Bandipora and Naidkhai, where they can thrive and play.
He committed to ensuring a reliable 24-hour drinking water supply in both the Bandipora and Naidkhai blocks and pledged to rehabilitate Kanyari village in the Naidkhai block, focusing on revitalizing the local community and significantly improving living conditions.
Addressing the gathering, Majid emphasized, "The momentum is undeniable, and Bandipora’s people have spoken with their hearts. They are no longer swayed by false promises—they seek real progress, and they know that Usman Majid is the only true guarantee for prosperity, stability, and development."
Majid expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support his campaign has received. "I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support we've seen over the past week. Majid reaffirmed his commitment to improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and job opportunities for the youth of Bandipora, especially Naidkhai block.
