Unscheduled power cuts derail normal life in Jammu: Pavneet Kour | |
Jammu, December 10 (Scoop News)-Apni Party Provincial President Women Wing Jammu, Pavneet Kour has raised concern over the unscheduled electricity cuts in Jammu during the winter season that has put normal life out of gear.
As per a press release, a meeting was organized by District President Women Wing Jammu Urban, Ritu Pandita at ward number 55 in Jammu.
In this meeting, the issues of the above said wards were discussed threadbare by the participants who expressed their faith in the Apni Party’s equitable developmental agenda.
In this meeting, Pavneet Kour also expressed concern over the unscheduled power cuts that have affected normal life especially during the winter season and the people are getting huge electricity bills.
She demanded that the electricity consumers should be provided 24/7 electricity and waive off the electricity charges to the poor families.
She said that the Apni Party believes that the people should not be overburdened with the electricity charges and relief should be provided to them by the Govt.
She however highlighted that the Apni Party has committed to provide 500 units of free electricity in Jammu during summers and 300 units during winter season.
She also informed them that the Party aims to enhance up to 1 lakhs rupees and provide marriage assistance within shortest time to the women belonging to financially poor families.
“The Apni Party has also committed in its agenda to provide the free cooking gas cylinders to each poor family per year under Ujjawala Scheme,” she added while elaborating about the developmental and welfare schemes of the Apni Party that would be launched if forms next Govt in J&K. ... |
