| Mohtra presents books on Praja Parishad movement to LG | |
Jammu, December 10 (Scoop News)-Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, Incharge of Nanaji Deshmukh Library of Jammu and Kashmir BJP, presented books on Praja Parishad and other movements to the J&K Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, when the later visited different stalls after inaugurating the Mahotsav 2023 at Gulshan Ground, Jammu.
The 2-day Mahotsav 2023 event has been organised to showcase the rich culture, art, crafts and developing Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
Nanaji Deshmukh Library had placed a large number of books on historic movements and developments in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir depicting pre 1947 and post 1947 history, in a stall in gulshan ground, Jammu.
These books titled 'Saga of Sacrifices-Praja Parishad Movement', '100 Documents- Refrence Book on Jammu and Kashmir', in both English and Hindi languages were placed in the stall for sale. In addition to it, free of cost pamphlets containing important and inspiring speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and achievements of Modi government were also placed in the stall.
People in large numbers visiting this stall, displayed deep interest in the books in particular.
Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, assisted by e-library Incharge Pallavi Gupta, also replied to the queries of a number of people and explained them in details many historic incidents of Praja Parishad Movement and the supreme sacrifices of great Indian patriots, who devoted their lives for the cause of the nation in Jammu and Kashmir.
