Disable, non- disable, tribal orphans and BPL together on eve of National Childrens Day
Srinagar, November 14 (Scoop News)-Humanity welfare organization Helpline in collaboration with Government Degree college Utrusoo Shangus organised art event on eve of National Childrens Day at government Degree college Utrusoo Shangus. Around 400 children belonging to disability sector, tribal communities, BPL families, backward areas and children in need of care and protection enrolled in different child care instructions participated in the inclusive art event. The college ground was blooming like a garden with different flowers. The Chief Education officer Anantnag was chief guest on the occasion. He inaugurated the programme and interacted with all children. Spending hours with the children. The Chief Education officer appreciated the role of Humanity welfare organization Helpline NGO working for education of children with disabilities. He said children are the future of the country and the department is committed to develop every child in every area.
Secretary District Legal services authority presented a paper on child rights among the audience of college staff and students of government Degree college Utrusoo. She said that organisations like Humanity Welfare Organization Helpline believing in and implementing inclusion needs to be encouraged and supported. Today organization has created best example of inclusion by providing opportunity to children from Tribal communities children with Disabilities, children in need of care and protection and children belonging to marginalized communities on one platform to highlight their talent without any competition but larger collaboration

Adil Rashid vaid moderator of the programme and general secretary of organising agency said Humanity Welfare Organization Helpline is the lone organization in J&K advocating for the Rights of persons with Disabilities. Our organisation has been organising the inclusive drawing competition for past decade but it was a new experience to create inclusive event in a far flung area of Shangus tehsil which is mostly hilly and children have less access to such events. Our organisation is committed to continue such programmes and will provide opportunity to all underprivileged children in phase wise manner so that children from all castes religions and gender can give vent to their talents. Children's Day is important because children are future citizens and incorporating Inclusivity features will certainly end up barriers and make the jolly J&K dream true in near future.

Principal Government Degree college Utrusoo Shangus Syed Javed Ahmad Peer said that Humanity Welfare Organization Helpline has been one of the best organisation working in close association with the educational institutions and organization has organised number of events in the college but celebrating children's Day in the college has really contributed a lot in far flung area like Shangus. An awareness has been created that every child is an artist and body differences, economic differences or geographical differences are no way hurdle in creating inclusion. He offered Organization to sign an Memorandum of Association with the college so that new possibilities come out to empower children with Disabilities are chalked out

District administration gifted sports kits among the special children of Zaiba Aapa institute of inclusive education. All participants and guests were served mementoes and citations. Media persons from district Anantnag were also present and covered the event.
