There have been many diseases in the past ,but this novel coronavirus seems to have engulfed the world like a storm.This virus has created havoc across the globe The most worsensome is in the situation in India.Thousands of the people are dying,there is lack of oxygen in the hospitals ,and number of those infected and needing hospitalisation has gone far beyond the capacity of the health system. Resutantly, people are dying on the streets ,and morgues and crematories have run out of capacity .Every country is trying to curb the virus by vaccinating it's people and enforcing strict measures to restrict contact among people. While rest of the world is doing everything to deal with the deadly virus ,we in India seem largely indifferent. While the people are completely disregarding social distancing ,the government also does not seem prepared or willing to put in full efforts to stop the spread .Despite government appeals ,shoppe malls are full and people seldom wear masks.However the hesitation on the part of government in implementing a complete lock down for a couple of weeks is also mind boggling especially when we are witness the horrors of raging pandemic right next door .The ec5is important but it is if people are.Sancity of life takes precedence over everything. I am afraid that if we do not take the pandemic seriously, we soon be under the wrath of deadly virus .This wave of death now engulfed the whole world and now the clouds of death are wandering over the heads of every people throughout the length and breadth of globe.I think that the government must enforce a complete and strict lockdown. People must follow social distancing protocols and wear masks.Social gather for any reason must be avoided by people and politicians alike.I am highly anguish when I seen people in Bihar celebrating higher votting number of Smt Mamta Banerjee where are without masks and violate SOPS norms and regulation.Last but not least may God save our country from looming catastrophe and stop dance of death due to Coronavirus.
