| MP Ladakh chaired 2nd DISHA meeting of Leh district | |
Leh (Ladakh), December 02 (Scoop News)-Member Parliament Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal who is also the Chairman of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DDCMC) ‘DISHA’, chaired a review meeting with the members of DISHA committee and officers of line department to check the status and progress of Centrally Sponsored schemes implementing in the district today at DC office Conference Hall.
Chief Planning Officer, Tsewang Gyalson highlighted the physical and financial progress under various centrally sponsored schemes implementing in the district through PPT.
Addressing the house, MP Ladakh informed that second DISHA review meeting after constituting the 17th Lok Sabha has been convened with the objective to effective implementation of all CSS schemes in Ladakh. He further directed all the Officers of line departments to ensure coverage of all eligible beneficiaries including refugees under all the CSS schemes and directed the Member Secretary for effective monitoring of the projects. He further stressed that to follow up the committee recommendations until its final implementation on ground.
Under NULM and PMEGP schemes, the Chairman directed the Lead Bank Manager to achieve the targets and to submit action taken report within one week. He also directed the SE PDD to provide electricity connection for TR Sumda from Puga-Sumdo-Thukjay connection line. He assured to take up all the noted issues at Central level for their redressal in a phase manner.
Physical and financial progress status and issues under various Centrally Sponsored schemes like ICDS, NHM, NRHM, MGNREGA, DDUGJY, PMGSY, Social Welfare, BBBP, PMKSY, PMFBY, Soil Card, Samagra, Midday meal, PM Gramin Aawas Yojna, Swachh Bharat Mission Rural, SBM Urban, Rurban, and many more were discussed.
Issues regarding construction overhead footbridge near SNM hospital, Multi storey parking and implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) were also discussed.
Chief Executive Councillor Tashi Gyalson stressed the importance of identification of genuine beneficiaries and requirement of awareness for centrally sponsored schemes among the rural people.
Later, Deputy Commissioner/Member Secretary, Sachin Kumar Vaishya IAS requested the line departments and concerned members to highlight and bring any issues with regard to implementation of schemes and to follow up with LAHDC and District administration level.
