Leh, September 28 (Scoop News)-The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, in collaboration with the Department of Skill Education, CBSE, has commenced a three-day Bootcamp on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Citizenship and Educational Technology at NIELIT, Leh.
The three-day programme commenced today, 28th September 2026, with the objective of providing students with exposure to emerging technologies, responsible digital practices and the application of Artificial Intelligence in education and everyday life.

| | Haj Committee Organises Introductory, Feedback and Training Programme for Haj 2027 Pilgrims in Kargil | | |
Kargil, September 27 (Scoop News)-The Haj Committee, UT Ladakh, organised an introductory, feedback and short Haj training programme for Haj 2027 pilgrims at Syed Mehdi Memorial Hall, Kargil.
The programme was attended by Hon’ble Chairman Haj Committee UT Ladakh Ghulam Abbas Abidi, Religious Clerics, Executive Member Dr. Zahida Banoo, JKAS, former Chairman Haj Committee UT Ladakh Mohd Ali Majaz, President JUIAK Sheikh Nazir, officers of the Haj Committee and other concerned members. Pilgrims who performed Haj last year was also participated and shared their experiences.

Nyoma, September 27 (Scoop News)-As part of the celebrations of National Sports Day 2026 and Youth Engagement Month, the Department of Youth Services and Sports, UT Ladakh, is organising an Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Nyoma from September 26 to 29, 2026.
Three matches were played today, witnessing enthusiastic participation from cricket teams representing different districts of UT Ladakh.
In the first match, Kargil defeated Nubra by 10 wickets. In the second match, Sham defeated Leh by 43 runs, while in the third match, Changthang defeated Zanskar by 6 wickets.

Leh,September 26 (Scoop News)- Chief Secretary, UT Ladakh, Shri Ashish Kundra today visited the Pashmina Dehairing Plant and Centre at Industrial Estate, Leh, to review the ongoing dehairing and processing operations and assess the progress of the remaining infrastructure works.
