Leh, January 17 (Scoop News)- As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, one persons tested positive for COVID-19 and was received by CMO Leh. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 12 patients yesterday. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 93; 88 in Leh district and five in Kargil district. Leh (Ladakh), January 16 (Scoop News)-In the first phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, 79 health care workers were given the first shots of the vaccine in Leh district today. Skalzang Chosdon, a safaiwala by profession, was the recipient of the first shot of COVID-19 vaccine in Leh district. Both the positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and were detected from COVID Lab Leh. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 12 patients yesterday. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 104; 99 in Leh district and five in Kargil district.
