| Awareness Campaign "childline se Dosti" concludes | |  Bijbehara, November 21 (Scoop News)- Childline Anantnag Organised a series of awareness Programmes under the week long celebration of Childline Se Dosti week by conducting workshop on understanding and prevention of child sexual abuse, health check up camp for children with disabilities, sensitization programme on child marriage, importance of personal hygiene and mensural education, naat competition, drawing competition, etc.
Various reacretional activities such as folk songs, dance, Antakshari were also organised for children so as to engage them positively. Besides this, Childline team sensitized masses about issues pertaining to children and mobilised them about the child helpline number 1098. The services provided by Childline team were enshrined in every programme. The programme witnessed an active participation of children, community members and other stakeholders.
During the week long programme officials from District Administration Anantnag, Child Welfare Committee Anantnag, Government Medical College Anantnag, District Legal Service Authority, Education Department, ICDS officials, ICDS workers and helpers helped the childline functionaries to make the programme a successful event.
The event concluded on Friday by organising awareness rally and a pledge to stand against child abuse . Javed Ahmad Tak, Director Childline Anantnag thanked one and all for their efforts towards the sensitization programme.
